Daunting which was then

Mirage as roads close in
Funny it had been
Farcical acts always seen
Sunny was never the sheen
Still we stood together and keen
Time traces tall
Together we won't stroll

Aah! all's whim except one stall
Woods will cast away
Words will wind off
But memories will hold way
Blessed it be though we turn off
Last is always least
Least has to fall at every feast
